Not bad for 63! Bruce Springsteen shows off his tanned and toned body as he hits the beach in Rio de Janeiro
He's earned as reputation as being 'The Boss' in the rock world.
But it looks as though Bruce Springsteen could expand his expertise to the world of healthy living too.
At 63-years-old, the rocker showed off his impressive physique at the beach on Friday, in Rio de Janeiro.
If they made a muppet Bruce Springsteen, it would pretty much look like that picture.
He looks pretty damn good. Funny they don't realize the unnamed "pal" with him is Jann Wenner, gay creator of Rolling Stone.
No wonder Bruce still gets covers!
He looks great!
wOW, VERY NICE.
Goddamn, he has an incredible body for a man in his 60's! That's the body of a man half his age. Good for Bruce.
is he secretly gay?
Amazing. Now if he would change the Neanderthal expressions he wears.
Points for no tattoos. Maybe it's a generational thing?
Always great body, never cared for that Jersey shore face though. Bon Jovi was the only truly good looking guy from Jersey ever, I think.
Too bad the baggy swimsuit doesn't show off his ginormous cock.
Holy shit!!! I'd hit that!
He sure does have "Jersey face" though, doesn't he.
Doable from the neck down.
R12 I would say there's no such thing as "Jersey Face," but the stupider among you would start talking about those losers from "Jersey Shore," and the thing is, none of them was from NJ.
There have been bi rumours about Brucie for years.
He really does have a huge cock. And I didn't know his body was that great but fuck is it ever.
My partner is 61 and is very similar to Springsteen neck down, except for lighter skin tone and a little slimmer. Oh, and his balls aren't as low slung as Bruce's (third pic down on the given link).
It's definitely possible to look like this in your 60s. My guy has done physical work all his life (never at a gym) and doesn't eat as much as most people - he is happy to eat just twice daily (I don't get it. My mind turns into a dizzy soup if I don't eat more often). He says you should never feel full before you stop eating. His breakfasts are typically plain yogurt with banana, honey and coffee. If he snacks during the day, it's usually fruit.
His method works for him. He's hot and never has bad breath, even in the morning.
Are those pictures real? It looks like they put his head on someone else's body. His face is pale yet his body is tanned. Weird.
Yes, bi rumours exist for Bruce, even among his own fans (male and female). I heard one say once, "That would explain some things."
he is very hot indeed.
His body is very good for his age. I'm impressed, and I'm under 30. I wish more older guys looked after themselves like that. No loose skin either! wow!
Oh that's easy, R21. All we have to do is tour constantly and give those aerobic extravaganzas Bruce calls concerts.
R21, in fairness, my older bf at R17 does have lots of saggy face skin, but he's still gorgeous to me. We all age. It's part of life. But we can still age well without peels, botox, and lifts, just by regular taking care of ourselves.
We all age. It's part of life.
Not on DL. And we never gain weight.
And he's getting ready to turn 64. He looks great!
With all the money Springsteen has made, he has no excuse not to look good.
He was always naturally thin so it helps.
Bruce is now officially a prawn...throw away the head and keep the body.
With all the money Springsteen has made, he has no excuse not to look good.
You might want to tell that to the many rich celebs that look like shit.
He looks pretty damn good. Funny they don't realize the unnamed "pal" with him is Jann Wenner, gay creator of Rolling Stone.
How tragic that we've gotten to a point where a gay man is more comfortable looking like a mess while the straight guy actually cares about his body.
Jann should be ashamed.
Jann should be ashamed.
Of what? He's 67, and some anorexic on an internet forum thinks he should look the same as he did at 27?
How tragic that we've gotten to a point where a gay man is more comfortable looking like a mess while the straight guy actually cares about his body.
How have "we" "gotten to [this] point"? These are two completely different individuals we're talking about, with different genetics and different lifestyles. Their sexuality should not be a factor at all.
These are two completely different individuals we're talking about, with different genetics and different lifestyles.
Sorry, is one a land mammal and the other comes from the sea? Jann clearly gave up. Don't try to excuse it away.
My point was: why bring sexuality into it at all? Two men, roughly contemporaries, are aging differently. That's all.
Why bring "aging differently" into it, R34? It was a story about Bruce until the DL Shame Squad went to work on Jann.
Playing guitar and moving about as he does has kept him toned. I remember seeing Tina Turner in an interview years ago and she said she never exercised or concerned herself with weight. Just performing for so many years was all she needed.
Bruce's job means spending three or more hours on stage, and not just standing there and singing. He's widely known for his intense, physical live performances. He just finished a massive tour, so of course he should be in shape.
Yann Wenner wears suits and sits behind a desk all day.
What R37 said. Can we please close the Jann Wenner part of the thread now?
I've always wondered whether or not there was supposed to be some kind of message on the [italic]Born In The USA[/italic] cover.
Is it possible that, in 1984, nobody who worked with him knew about the hanky code?
Indeed, he was always pretty small framed. Long horse face. So much of this is genetics in that respect.
One thing I always LOVED about Bruce was you could go to some dive chinese restaurant in West Hollywood at the peak of his fame -- and he'd be sitting there with his wife eating, no entourage, no fear. And folks would leave him alone, though it was hard not to stare.
One thing I always HATED about Bruce: singing about the poor railroad man from his Bel Air mansion. When he went downhill, I swear. We weren't buying anymore.
R36, you actually believe that? It's totally BS when models or actors or singers tell you they don't exercise or watch what they eat. They naturally look this thin/good etc!!
They work out. Mick Jagger works out everyday and Bruce also works out. Remember he had a fling with a redhead he met in the gym? He was named in her divorce.
Cheers for no tattoos on Bruce!!
3 ft tall. Next.
Just goes to show you for those who think it's all over after 45. More and more of us are looking like this and/or better!
R44, without pictures...
Just occurred to me, the reason Bruce could sit alone in middle of Chinese restaurant then and not worry about it... NO CELL PHONES THEN, HENCE NO CAMERAS.
Bet that doesn't happen much these days.
R47 I would have to fill out an application. Please provide a pic.
Bruce is twice my age and I would let him fuck me six ways to Sunday.
Jann Wenner has always been a troll, even as a young man in his 20s. He's looked like a fat little Oompa-Loompa his whole life, it has nothing to do with aging.
@R48, it's a search engine. Just go down to "age" and type minimum 50 and maximum 65.
2 of the 3 near me are tattooed and pierced. NMT.
Bruce's body puts a lot of young men half his age to shame.
Sighs... his gut is smaller than mine right now, and so are his tits. He looks freaking fantastic for 63.
His hair's in good shape too, and doesn't scream 'dye job.' Genetic jackpot.
Anyone have the pap shot of him on his deck in white briefs circa 1987? I loved that photo as a young gay!!!
don't think he is a closeted gay, IIRC, he was mentioned as "the other person" in someone's divorce paper not that long ago.
His head is like 50 times to big for his body and he clearly has had liposuction.
He may work out and he may diet, but those results come from HGH. Settle down people.
R60. I know! hGH definitely!
He looks good, but he's wearing a toupee.
such Debbie Downers! Nobody can get a compliment without the wolves ripping him apart!!
don't think he is a closeted gay, IIRC, he was mentioned as "the other person" in someone's divorce paper not that long ago.
Not to mention how his current marriage came about.
I've seen better heads on a boil.
In his 20s he was naturally slim, but ate lots of junk food and never worked out. You can't do that forever. In his 30s he changed the way he ate -- mostly vegetarian now -- and began to exercise regularly and work out with weights to build the stamina and fitness he needed to perform on stage. We saw him several years ago and we were amazed at the show he put on. It was as if no time had passed since the first concert we saw him in back in the early 80s.
What is HGH?
R67 Human Growth Hormone
Hair plugs, not a rug. Like Pitt, Clooney, Jackman, Depp et al
What does taking human growth hormone have to do with having a fit body? Forgive me, I know nothing about this and I'm curious.
Every one should vacation with the howling cultural void known as Jann Wenner. He makes everybody look good. By comparison.
Wow, he looks amazing. Not only is he fit, but his skin doesn't sag at all (not his face, though).
Oh look lots of bitterly envious ninnies showed up in this thread. How typical.
R41, you're absolutely right! These photos are just a testament for eating correctly, working out, etc. Older guys (many, who used to make fun of older guys when they were young) are now the "old guy" and we refuse to fall into that stereotype of (what do you guys call us here?) ...oh! the "elder gay," and we're redefining "what" and "who" we are. That includes our bodies too! Bon Jovi is a member of my gym and that guy can give some 20, 30, 40, year olds a run for the money.
Seeing how good Bruce looks and reading in other threads about the sexual adventures of gays in their 60's gives me hope for the future.
Lets hear it for the The Gee Gee's (Geriatric Gays)!!!
What is this about "bi rumors" about him that some people mentioned? Can someone elaborate?
And yes, hair plugs, not a toupee. He shouldn't keep dyeing his hair so dark, but otherwise he looks great.
What is this about "bi rumors" about him that some people mentioned? Can someone elaborate
"Someone's brother told a friend who knew a person who met some guy who said (and I ABSOLUTELY trust him) that BS was in love with one of his roadies and that they were married on an island in Micronesia."
In other words, the usual bilge that's been around the Internet since Year One.
Jann must be an emotional eater.
The guilt from continually trying to make us believe that every piece of shit put out by Yoko and/or Sean deserves four stars must get to him.
the howling cultural void known as Jann Wenner
I will henceforth refer to him only by this phrase. Thanks.
Last week, Mel Gibson was papped exiting a HGH clinic. HGH is analogous to botox injections for women. If you can afford it and you need to appear youthful, you do it. I'm amazed gay men do not recognize this.
R82 As much as I dislike Mel Gibson, his father, his politics, etc., it sickens me more to think that there are people who stand around waiting to ambush someone at an HGH clinic (which, BTW, I had no idea as to the existence of before reading your post).
HGH isn't a miracle pill or injection. It isn't expensive either. It's a help just like testosterone injections. It still comes down to VERY hard work in the gym and eating properly. Actually, eating properly is more important than the weightlifting.
I'm not saying he doesn't diet and exercise. But in order to achieve that look at Bruce's age you have to use the HGH boost. Other past-their-prime men who do this: Sean Penn, Marc Jacobs, and I suspect Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Include Brad Pitt in Troy and Madonna in the hgh user list (she had a man's jaw around the time of the promotion of the Confessions of A Skanque's Sore album)
As long as people don't lie about these things (like some actress claiming she never had surgery, but we know she's full of shit), who cares how someone achieves that body/face?
Good for Bruce, he looks great. Love his music and always have - hope he's around for a long, long time.
But let's not lose sight here. HGH and testosterone do help (I have injections myself) but all the HGH and Testosterone in the world will not help if one does not change their diet and exercise rigorously. I have a test level of a 20 year old now and what it has done for me is to give me energy to weight lift more and heavier. At the beginning I did not change my diet and had always had a pot belly. Once I changed the diet a six pack happened really quickly. As for the skin... moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Plus I drink a gallon of water every day. A lot men can look this way or better (and that's happening!) if you get rid of the bad habits, change the diet, and exercise.
More about HGH and testosterone please. Are we really supposed to do this now? At what age do you start?
HGH is most certainly an injection. Real HGH. Not these miracle testosterone boosting pills. If you want to know if HGH and Testosterone work look at Sly Stallone. He has been using HGH for years. It is the male version of Hormone Replacement Therapy. You still have to work out to get ripped but HGH will add muscle to you and reduce fat with little effort. Real HGH injections are expensive, there are side effects etc..
Ugh Jann Wenner is repulsive, didn't he leave his wife for a Calvin Klein male model?
So is Bruce "FWB" with Jann?
This photo link is real and can happen. The side effects of HGH injections are still being debated but R91 is correct. I would say that Sly Stallone is an abuser but for the average man to do that or Testosterone injections will change... well, it's great! But remember, it only does "so much." It still comes down to hard work and definitely diet.
Yup! Jann Wenner left his wife for a Calvin Klein male model.
Bruce looks great! He's worked out vigorously since the 1984 Born in the USA tour and has always been very conscious about maintaining his physique.
BTW, Happy Birthday to Bruce: he turns 64 tomorrow, September 23rd
Was he supposed to stay married to the woman to make a point? R92 sounds like a frau.
you think that pic of Wenner is hot??
Most of you don't really need a testosterone injection, you're already taking your recommended daily intake when you swallow cum.
Bruce is also known to have always been drug free. Don't know about alcohol...
Happy Birthday Bruuuuce! Here's a pic from last night. Hello daddy.
Anyone got dirt on Springsteen? He's managed to keep most gossip under wraps for so many years.
He's 20 years older than me and looks 20 years younger than me. I'm fat, half bald, and what little hair I've got left is half gray. Yet Bruce has no sign of gray and a body you could bounce a quarter off of.
He was named as a defendant in divorce proceedings in NJ back in 2010 after allegedly becoming involved with a female member of his gym. His wife, Patti, wrote and recorded some scathing songs for her solo album during this time frame.
This is not going to help quell those "bi" rumors.
What's shocking is, he's not saggy. You could be thin, even toned, but your skin droops everywhere, no matter what you do. He even has abs. Even his skin's perfect. He must workout and have really good genetics.
That hairline though... wet is not a good look.
I had mad fantasies about Bruce in the mid-80s.
If I was on that beach I would have led him into the water at chest level, pulled down his swimsuit and give him the best hand job he has ever had. I'd do more than that, but I don't thinks it's wise to be arrested in Brazil.
He needs to ease up on the hair dye, it is too unnatural-looking.
@R106, that's not necessarily true. Of course, good genetics is a help but avoiding saggy skin is a body mass issue. The leaner you are the less sag you will have. Then, it's about moisturizing, moisturizing, moisturizing!!! ...and drinking a lot of water
"He must workout?"
ya think? LOL!!!
What should be mentioned here too is what HGH and/or Testosterone does for the libido. I already had a high libido but when I started the injections my libido went off of the charts! Erections are stronger and harder. Ejaculations more forceful.
He doesn't wear underwear.
There is a website devoted to his junk, with so many delicious pages of VPL.
There are some natural ways to increase HGH. I recommend reading "Grow Young with HGH" by Dr. Ronald Klatz. Taking a teaspoon of l-glutamine, an amino acid, in some water right before bed on an empty stomach is one way. Another way is to run sprints or do high intensive training (brief bursts). A good reference book in the link:
no natural way is going to match hgh injections. That is like saying taking vitamins is the same as antibiotics. Older rich men are all into this cegenics stuff - basically HGH and Testosterone therapy so they can all be hard bodies leather faced guys dating 20 year olds...
"i have a better body than my 45 year old son and I fuck girls younger than my 20 year old granddaughter !"
You're spot on R116. Anything over the counter is a waste of money in my opinion. Ya gotta get the shot. I'm one to be a witness. It's amazing! But again, you have to remember that it's not a miracle whatever for transformation. Ya still gotta do the diet and exercise.
Some of it is genetics and steady commitment to working out. I don't mean to say he's not getting hormone injections -- who knows -- but I do have a good friend who is age 55, has been working out for decades, is lean/fit with zero flab and looks great. Like Springsteen, he looks sort of age 35 (and a fit 35) from the neck down. Face is more age-accurate. This friend of mine has no $$ and definitely didn't take anything like injections or surgery, he's always looked the same with his shirt off.
Is that him on the right? If it is... I'm giving up.
(I'm 61 and I thought I was in pretty good shape).
I really am impressed. I never found and still don't find Springsteen hot but he looks great for his age. Now I know if I keep myself in shape and eating well I too can look that or better in 35 years.
It is. Bruce on the right, Roy on the left.
His is not an in-shape body of a 63 year old. It's an in-shape body of a 35 year old.
Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin front U2 in New York – in pictures
Last night saw a surprise benefit concert to mark World Aids Day in New York – with the band billed as U2 Minus 1 bringing a couple of surprise guests to replace the stricken Bono
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
