Very cute. I'm going to keep supporting him, and everyone here should too, because who the hell else is singing/promoting gay-positive music (esp. within homophobic country music)? And he's cute, too.
In before jealous, bitchy cunts.
Just bought the song on iTunes.
Why are they shooting a country-western song in Chicago? It doesn't make any sense.
Why not, R3? He's from Chicago. If he were to shoot a video in Nashville, people would attack him for being a "poser."
A lot of country artists are not originally from the South/Texas (Shania Twain/Keith Urban).
All White people in his videos. Interesting...
Because so many non-white people listen to country music in general, right, R5?
This is not country music.
For whatever reason someone on DL keeps trying to categorize him as a country artist.
He has a big dick.
Because R7, to people in NYC and LA (the majority) of DL, this sounds pretty darned country. Certainly not music you'd hear usually blasted or playing in concerts or radio stations in big cities.
eh, looks like he has too many or not enough chromosones
He's over already. Back to glamour shots for you, sweetie.
Looks like an Abercrombie and Fitch ad. And exactly the same as the other video. Why is he always so mournful?
Country music has devolved into bland pop shit like everything else on commercial radio. This mess is a perfect example.
Bring back Tammy and The Possum.
He's handsome, despite the buggy eyes. I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating cookies...
It's a catchy, unapologetically gay song. I hope it's a big success for him.
What does that mean, R11? Be specific. Use timing points.
So this guy makes a living modeling slutty underwear and wants me to take his music seriously? Um, no.
R17 if you read any of his interviews you'd know he said he made no money off of modeling. He also implied that he's no longer fanatical about working out either.
He made the majority of money from performing in various churches (Catholic church--and there's an article in HuffPo discussing that).
He's a beautiful guy, but not much of a singer.
Here's a cover he did last year of Bruno Mars It Will Rain. His voice reminds me a little of Billy Joel.
I think he's great, and I think it's great to read the HuffPost Gay Voices article on him, to see that the Catholic church where he sings and came out isn't KKKatholic.
I don't practice any religion anymore, but I'm thrilled that religions are opening up to gay people, because a lot of gay people do care about being welcomed into their church or temple, and I think feeling rejected by religion is often a big piece of depression.
The Episcopalian church I grew up going to with my gay mother had a gay minister and junior minister who came out about 30 years ago. My best friend from college went to MCC church for awhile but eventually went back to the Catholic church (because of Waugh's invisible thread, I believe), but I don't know if his was an accepting one or not.
I didn't think the statement by Pope Francis was that impressive (I was hoping for more), but it's wonderful that so many Catholic churches and priests are running with it and saying it means gay people (who actually have sex with each other) are welcome in their congregations. Pretty cool.
His cock pic leaked.
Holy shit, r10, that made me spit-laugh! Is that real?
r25 yeah it's real he did a lot of international male type ads
Boring song. Boring video.
He should change the name of it to, "One Trick Pony" or "Milking It."
The pic R10 posted isn't a great pic of him, the sheer underwear withstanding.
That song is just dreadful.
But he's cute, and good luck to him.
He's invented a new genre:
Gay bubblegum pop music.
How long till he is dating Lance Bass? Or Andy Cohen?
