I want to be the first person to welcome you into September! Soon the leaves will turn color and fall; the mornings crisp and lively. You are one season closer to death.
BE SWEET! And don't forget to tip the bartender!
Are you The Christmas Mouse?
Only one or two months until the supposed asteroid hit. Oh well.
Only 125 shopping days 'til Christmas!
I like the fall because I can suck off the straight men at the local park outside in the cool weather instead of straining my neck blowing them in their air conditioned El Dorados.
Thank you for welcome, OP. I LOVE September. It's getting cooler. The days are shortening. And it's my birthday month!!!
Cooler my ass!
September is just another late summer month here.
Fall = Death
Yay, my birthday month!
You mean `Welcome to September,bitches!` ?
September is hot and humid in Florida.
r7, r11 My condolences on the shitty weather. C'mon up North and enjoy Autumn with us. I've seen leaves falling already, no color changes though. THAT will have to wait until October, the bestest month of the year. And Happy Birthday to all my fellow Virgoes, and Libras.
R1, no way is OP the christmas mouse. The "closer to death" line is something the christmas mouse would neeeeever say
Where in South Texas, r7?
In New Zealand thy are just starting to get out of winter.
R7, same in southern Arizona. Hot as hades here, and humid too!
Weirdly, my garden looks better than it has all year.
Fall doesn't come to the Willamette Valley in Oregon (at least where I am at) until later in October. September is usually hot, sometimes muggy, and the wasps and yellow jackets are angry. I can't wait until late October.
In Northern California, it's fucking hot, dry, smoggy, and nasty. I'm spending as much time at the seaside as I can, it's the only cool and pleasant place near here.
At least I'm not in SoCal, where the Santa Ana winds will be ramping up, and starting the real fire season.
I have a little hummingbird who is not one of my "regulars." My regulars use the nectar bottle and have all headed south already.
This little bugger visits my butterfly bushes, hyssop, black and blue salvia, amstead salvia and cleome, but does not visit the nectar bottle. I watch him preen himself in a branch right across from the nectar bottle, but he doesn't know what it's for.
I guess he is from further north and is making a pit stop at my home on his way south.
