Now used mostly by old people as a general term for young people. In fact, misuse of the word is a strong indicator that someone is old and out of the loop.
- OK. I'll just use "douchebag" instead. Because they're roughly equivalent.
- What's interesting (at least I think so) is that hipster was a term used in the 1940's, before the term Beatnik (and then hippie) came about. So I guess we have come full circle?
