That New Hollywood Game Night Show Had Patricia Heaton On
How did host Jane Lynch deal with it?
It's just one of those weird things about grown-ups, OP.
When you reach a certain age, hopefully you learn how to be a professional in your chosen career. Once you get to that point, you can interact with a wide variety of individuals holding differing viewpoints, and manage to work together.
Many learn that by the time they have their first real job. For you it might take longer OP, but maybe you'll come around someday.
Still has to be awkward sharing a stage with someone who thinks you're a defective human being, wise one at R1.
Any more challenging than sharing office space or working behind a register together?
Jane, as the host of the show, has the power to cut her off and let someone else speak.
Hollywood Game Night is my second favorite new show this year after Splash. It's fun. The producers did a great job in creating the feeling of a living room game night. Jane is a really good host.
Oh, bless your heart, R5.
r5 Yes. Those two couches and a whiteboard were sheer brilliance.
It's stupid. It doesn't feel real at all. The only vaguely amusing thing is if the celebs really get hammered during it (I suppose that could just be a joke).
Somehow, what's probably lots of fun in real life is lame and boring to watch. Like being the only sober one in a roomful of stoned or bombed friends, when you realize they aren't as funny, clever, or fabulous as you thought when you, too, were high.
It's awkward to watch because it's like they're all being told to look like they're having fun...and they're not.
But Jane is great.
Heaton supports marriage equality. Lynch was briefly in a gay marriage. Why should they have a problem?

Heaton has spoken out in favour of gy marriage, wise one at r2.
Was Jane getting an abortion in front of the white board?
Why the hate for Patricia Heaton? Why are gays so incredibly hateful?
It was far more cringe-worthy to watch Jane try to make small talk with the bubble-headed Stacey Keebler.
Because religious assholes like you, R13, are incredibly hateful.
The answer is "late-term abortion".
Patty supports the unborn gay babies too!
Why the hate for her? I don't get it.
Patty BEAT Jane Kazcmarek not once, but twice at the Emmys.

Yes, BET should invite the Klan on.
[quote]Heaton supports marriage equality.
No she doesn't. She supports the Republican Party and Tea Party loons.
R20 so does Kristin Chenoweth, where is your outrage towards her?
Another thread, R21. Even if Heaton says she supports gay causes, her allegiance to the Republican Party will always override that. I don't understand how you can say you support gay rights and be not just a repub, but a vocally active one. Heaton is gross.
She's also a militant Catholic, so her religion will also trump any phony PR attempt at appearing tolerant of LGBT issues.
