Damn, Balk as Dorothy could have just EATEN Mombi.
Neve's aged better than JLH
You're LATE AS HELL, OP. But, better late than never, I suppose. Fairuza MADE this film. Her performance in T"he Craft" is an underrated masterpiece.
Was this made before or after Scream?
This was the one of the best and biggest cult films to come out of the 90s.
Honestly, I was happy to see most of the actresses are still in circulation today. Neve at least had the Scream franchise, Robin Tunney was on the Mentalist, Rachel True pops up on TV from time to time and even randomly appeared on Kathy Griffin's old show as herself.
While Fairuza made this movie as Nancy Downs. However, the last time I saw her in a film was The Water Boy (and I think that was the last big one she did although she has been in many smaller ones since). I think she always has had a unique look and persona. I know she recently did "The Haunting Of" as a follow up to her "Celebrity Ghost Story" episodes as herself and she comes across as rather strange. Apparently she owns a candle making business and claimed she was being haunted by ghosts in the factory space she owned.
Balk also use to own PANPIPES, an occult bookstore on Hollywood Blvd.
Balk was great in American History X. She would fit right in on Orange is the New Black.
I visited Panpies years ago when I was in LA, and I told the girl behind the counter to tell Fairuza I said hi.
Neve's worked steadily even outside of the Scream movies. She was recently on Gray's.
Fairuza Balk is a career-killer kind of a name. Honestly.
Cult classic popular among the gays. Still have to see, so here's another timely memo.
Fairuza was excellent in Gas, Food, Lodging. I always liked her, she was just the right amount of exotic and kooky, but perhaps too much so for Hollywood. I agree with R19, she'd be a good fit on OitNB, but maybe she'd rather make candles than act nowadays.
