Zac Efron & Ryan Gosling In Talks for 'Star Wars': Report
Zac Efron and Ryan Gosling are reportedly in talks to join the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, according to Latino Review.
The film did not make an appearance at this year’s Comic-Con, but it is expected to be featured heavily at Disney’s D23 Expo next month, where some casting may be announced.
Ryan reportedly was seen for the role of Luke Skywalker’s son while it is not clear what role Zac is in talks to play.
Episode 7 is supposedly going to take place thirty years after Return of the Jedi.
Zac Efron could do perfectly fine in the right blockbuster role.

The son of Han Solo and Princess Leia?
Actually, Zac Efron looks a lot like the young Mark Hammill, not that they'd let him have a major role like Luke's son.
r4 just spoiled the entire new Star Wars trilogy.
I always look to Latino Review for exclusive movie news!
I'd take frikking Jar Jar Binks being the new movies over Zac Efron being on one of them.
There is no way that can really happen, is there?
Actually Latino Review does get scoops. They broke some things re the Batman films and MOS. The guy/s who run the site are big comic film geeks, they have sources.
Star Wars calls for hammy scenery chewers. Brits having a lark or American cheeseballs. To wit: Mark Hamill was great in the films, Actress with a capital A Natalie Portman stunk to high heaven.
Hell, I'd be more worried about Gosling than Efron.
Love Gosling's work, but he is not who I would have expected to be attached to this.
Yeah r6 has no idea what he/she's talking about, LR is a huge go-to site for superhero movie news.
Why can't they cast a bunch of nobodies WHO CAN ACT AND HAVE CHEMISTRY?
It's not like "Star Wars" needs a name to pull an audience.
The stars of the orignal were on nobody's radar when they were cast.
Since Zack looks like a Star Wars action figure, I think he'll do just fine.

Especially in the crotch.
There are no more movie stars. Only vapid, plastic dolls with the personalities of particle board.
I'd blame George Lucas for the horrible performances in "episodes" 1-3.
Ryan Gosling knows how to deliver in a good popcorn pic.
