Yesterday on Wendy Williams, during her Hot Topics segment, she talked about John and said that she doesn't know why people harp on about Clooney, because Stamos is way hotter. The two men have always sort of reminded me of each other. Who do you think is hotter overall?
Looking at the R16 photo of George, did he live in a house with no mirrors? Wasn't there any friend kind enough to tell him how bad he looked?
I don't know if I'd call either Clooney or Stamos "hot." They're both a bit beyond the "hot" stage. But they're both handsome, and at times, dashing; they're charming, and appealing. Both seem kind of funny and engaging and sometimes, they're sexy.
They both look better in clothes such as a well-tailored suit or sport jacket and slacks. Neither one is all that "hot" in a bathing suit. But they're very good-looking, sometimes silly that makes them seem accessible and even kissable--and wishing thinking, fuckable.

R21, your sensibilities are precisely calibrated.
R22. Is your comment a compliment or an insult?
Yea, maybe hot is not the right word, handsome or dashing seems appropriate for that age.
Most men at that age are hideous!
I, too, have never understood Clooney's appeal. I think he's goofy-looking.
Nicholas Hoult is a lot hotter.
Yeah I've never understood why people act like Clooney is the second coming. I've just never seen what others claim to see.
George Clooney. Because I know that John Stamos had a big ugly nose before his nose job.
r28, Clooney was once a fetus.
Disagree with R5. Stamos can't commit either, but he lies about it and Clooney doesn't.
I used to watch the Carson Daly show and Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell used to be on the show a lot, along with some other people they hung out with. It was pretty obvious that although he and RR were still married at the time, Stamos was nowhere in the picture.
Clooney is brighter than Stamos and has shown some creativity. Clooney gets major points for that.
I'd like to be the filling of that sandwich.
Isn't Clooney a drunk?
John has a weird belly button. That could easily be a deal breaker for us.
They're good-looking for their ages, but only for their ages. I'm not going to pretend that I would find them sexier than younger, hotter guys. But if I were to compare them both when in their prime, it would be Stamos by a mile.
stamos is hot.
george is cute, but the whole never getting married always with a new young thing is repulsive.
at least george should date his own age.
John became hotter once he cut the hair and matured.
Are there any pre nose job pictueres of him? Because he was an actor when he was a teenager and I don't recall there being much of a difference in his nose.
Neither are hot. Both are handsome and attractive.
Is John STamos single? He never seems to be out with a girlfriend.
I think Stamos is now much better looking than Clooney.
I don't think Stamos had a nose job. If he did, he must have had done in his teen years lol. I don't know all his work but he's 49 now. He was in the 1986 released movie "Never Too Young To Die" with the most gorgeous woman ever, Vanity. The press was talking about how hot they looked together and his nose looked the same then as now. I'm guessing the movie was made in 1985 which make Stamos 20 or 21.
My problem with Stamos and Clooney is that both guys always just got by on their nice faces and never made an effort to develop their bodies. That would have taken them to another level.
Nothing to do with hotness, but if you need to close a Broadway show, replace an existing star with John (Matthew Broderick in How to Succeed, and Antonio Banderos in Nine) or open a stinker revival (Bye Bye Birdie) with him. What's the last movie John appeared in, let alone over the title? Just sayin'... Though he is miles hotter than George Clooney.
I saw him in both "Cabaret" and "Birdie" and he was fine in both.
Op forgot the third option: Both fugly.
How can anyone be considered "hot" if he doesn't have a hot body to go with it? That's another thing that puzzles me about the George Clooney phenomenon. Attractive, maybe (although I think he's more well-dressed than handsome). But not hot.
John Stamos is not a movie star. He's a TV and Broadway actor--a 'star' if you'd like.
Clooney was a TV actor who became a movie star, producer, director.
Neither are hot any longer. Both are handsome. But they're both in different categories as far as star power, clout, influence, stature and even approachability and silliness, and each of these characteristics have their appeal or not when measuring how attractive or appealing each one is.
Has Clooney ever done stage work? I know there was that Prop 8 thing, but that was a staged reading. And there was the live "Fail-Safe" on TV which is sort of like theater, I guess.
Oh Blackie, the years I have loved you and I love you no less today. I know your belly button is screwed up but I don't care.
R17, Details please on what makes Clooney "hotter in bed." How does DL know that you're being honest?
Stamos has a giant juicy cock.
Stamos hands down. George seems boring and stuck up.
I think Stamos would have a more expressive look with a big dick deep in his throat.
Both completely full of themselves. I read some blurb from John Stamos where he said he was embarrassed to be on Full House everyday he was on the set. I'm not saying this show was anything less than a total joke, but he wasn't too embarrassed to keep cashing that handsome paycheck for starring in that piece of crap. Where the hell would that no talent pretty boy be without that show?
I once read that the only reason John kept playing psychotic killers, pimps, etc. during his hiatuses from "Full House" was to get as far away from the saccharin "Uncle Jessie" character as possible. As an actor, you can't really blame him.
Stamos Iooks and acts like he could fuck you into next week. So there you have it.
I wouldn't turn down a Stamos/Clooney sandwich. But a Stamos/Jerry O'Connell sandwich... now THAT'S good eatin'.
The Clooney/Stamos sandwich is more appealing than the Clooney/O'Connell sandwich.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
