Viral YouTube music video called "All American Boy" written and sung by hunky 23 year old gay artist.
I just caught this video on HuffPo and its received over 600,000 views since it was posted last Tuesday. The singer song writer is named Steven Grand and he didn't expect the the many responses and views his video is getting. This is the description from the HuffPo article. ""All-American Boy" portrays a young gay man who misreads signals from an apparently straight "all-American" male friend. On a day hanging out with the gang, the two guys and a girl take off in a car. She drives, as the guys sit together in the back, with the straight man, at one point, falling asleep on the gay man's shoulder. Feeling like a third wheel, the girl eventually, angrily drives off, leaving the two men to pal around in the woods, where they end up stripping down and going skinny-dipping -- even sharing a quick kiss. Ultimately for the straight guy, it was just all in good fun. But for the gay man, it was something much more significant, and he is left dazed, confused and longing."
Wait til you see their bods! WooHoo!! Enjoy!
Of course they look like that...The "straight" guy looks like Cole Hauser.
The music itself is awful, but he's gorgeous.
If he sang more from his heart, it would work better. He's got a good voice, but it sounds like every other song on the radio...lots of emoting and no emotion.
The young gays will love it, as they know no better.
Well I think the video itself is what will make them love the music, R4. Hot guy. Unrequited love.
Has all of the elements of a cheesy song that kids love.
OMG, OP, you have TOTALLY broken this news! There was DEFINITELY not another thread on this exact same thi...oh, wait.
Unnatural body. Styled hair. Flimsy t-shirt. The people act and look like they're on some TV show, not real people. All that's a turn off.
And the object of his desire looks more like the coach than the quarterback.
true r11. They both look like they've long since moved away from home. the word "boy" is stretching things.
Are you going to support him just 'cause he's gay?
Sorry, I think he's doing this as a gimmick and not because he's struggling to break into country music's mainstream.
He's also over processed and looks nothing like an 'average' American guy, if such a thing exists.
This is porn without the nudity and he knows it, not the attempt to be a country star he's attempting to play it off as. It's essentially an Abercrombie ad.
LOL, it DOES look like an Abercrombie ad. I think that's what r10 was getting at too. I like the idea, it's just that the visuals do seem fake.
The fact that he's almost a porn whore with an overdone physique and a semi-erect cock has NOTHING to do with his immediate (and quickly fading) popularity.
That pic in the speedos is alarming.
If he looked more au natural and sang a good song....
It's pretty sad people are ripping on him when he's come out and trying to jumpstart a career, very well I think.
He has a great voice, and it's a great song. Whatever.
He was interviewed on Good Morning America this morning. See link...
For everything but his horrible songwriting. At least he's a very CUTE boy.
The versus have the same chords and melody of Gaga's "You and I".

No, you don't get a pass because you're Vadge, Vadge.
I hope he's a success if he's a nice person, but a country singer he's not. And his video is, as others have said, too glossy and "processed" and seems to try too hard.
I think he's doing more modeling than singing.
This is sort of a Rebecca Black video, only with a hotter person and gay.
A well deserved oh, dear. Sorry. I was berating a dancer when I typed "versus". Meant verses of course.
People are saying, why doesn't he be a country singer first, and a gay person second?
I think he cute and it's progress. another step for teh gays.
Cute or not, I'm already SO sick of this guy and this lame song.
Gorgeous guys...sad video....but there are other hotties around the campfire.
I hope he goes the Mackelmore route and makes music without owing his soul to a recording company.
Mackelmore isn't gay, but he's the best model for real independent artists today.
Terrible song. Really dreadful. Unfortunately AND fortunately, it's just as awful as every other pop country song on the radio today.
I really like the song and I'm TOTALLY in love with Steve Grand who is a GOD!!! The video is shit but he only spent $7500 on it. If some label is smart here, they'll sign this guy and redo the video. He is absolutely frickin gorgeous. He reminds me of a cuter, more macho version of Nick Adams from Priscilla on B'way. (Picture below)
OK, back to All American Boy.
