I haven't read the whole thing. About finished the second book, so no spoilers please. I hated the Irish brother who was a priest (couldn't remember exactly, it's been a long time since I touched the novel), I thought the only reason he helped the hookers was because it made him feel like a hero. And what an expensive way to go about feeling like a hero. Thoughts?
