[quote] Seems to be playing a horny straight guy.
Is the show autobiographical?
R3, Luke is still working - that's what DL has wanted to know for the past several years on all the Luke threads.
Yeah, glad to hear to he has another acting gig even if it is for Canadian TV.
I mean as gorgeous as he is he isn't really the best actor, but still I would think he would have been able to find a role in American TV, still nice to hear he is working.
Luke did a recent interview about the new show. The DL Luke-is-straight troll might be interested in the following from the article:
The actor, who is openly gay, says he’d love to have a family one day. He said the entertainment industry has made progress in its attitude toward gays and lesbians “but it’s something that still needs to be addressed in our business. A little more acceptance is necessary.”
Canceled. Low ratings.
"CTV says the (Satisfaction) rookie season pulled in an average of 511,000 viewers per episode. In comparison, summer repeats of The Big Bang Theory did three times as many viewers while The Amazing Race Canada pulled 3.5 million."
DL is a curse. Any actor who becomes a DL obsession is doomed to career mediocrity.
Save me, Ryan Murphy!
Luke is a Hot Hot Man!
If US TV uses Toronto as a location to save money, where does Canadian TV shoot to save money?
He is gorgeous, he has a part in NBC's The Night Shift.
Oct 11, 2013:
Encouraging news for midseason NBC series The Night Shift – the network has ordered three additional scripts of the medical drama. Night Shift, about the men and women who work the wee hours at San Antonio Memorial, has an 8-episode order (pilot +7) as part of that complex four-show deal between NBC and Sony TV last May that included pickups of The Blacklist (with guaranteed Monday 10 PM slot), Welcome To The Family and The Night Shift and a renewal of Community.
The Night Shift pilot tested very well, with Irish actor Eoin Macken, who plays the lead, touted as a potential breakout star. Creators Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah executive produce with Pierre Morel.
