BOSTON (CBS) — Tim Tebow is a New England Patriot.
ESPN’s Ed Werder broke the shocking news via Twitter late Monday afternoon, adding that Tebow is expected to be present for the start of Patriots minicamp on Tuesday.
CBS Sports’ Mike Freeman later confirmed the news via Twitter, adding that Tebow “will study a great deal of tight end.”
Tebow, 25, was released by the New York Jets after the team drafted Geno Smith in this year’s draft.

I'm sure it's not his first time.
Jesus freaks and American Football.
Is there anything else more typical of the state of the USA today?
I would take Tebow over Sanchez any damn day of the wk.
Poor Jets are still going to suck ass!! Rex Ryan isn't worth a damn.
How tight is tht tight end??? ... Mmmmmmm..
Riley Cooper is the expert on that tightness.
He's hideous. He looks like a preening budgerigar that has had a lobotomy, which didn't have much effect.
How, mussy rejuvenation?
I can't figure out why they did this - but he was the best college player pretty much ever, so if you can wipe away all the hooplah you actually get a pretty decent player. And if you don't trot him out to be a fucking quarterback when he's not ready, you might get a really great player.
Was that pic supposed to dispel something, R24? He's certainly a hot physical specimen, but that face creeps me the fuck right out.
They did this because Belichick is a genius and McDaniels is his offensive coordinator. They both have massive egos and would love to prove they can do something everyone thinks is impossible.
Don't forget McDaniels drafted him in the first round. There was a lot of talk that Belichick might take him, so McD traded up to get him in the spot before New England. He's very motivated to prove he was right.
To each his own, R25. But I think he looks like a handsome cave man, and that appeals to some gay guys.

Provided of course that he pull his head out of his ass first, and admit to himself that he's gay.
You can definitely count me as a Neanderthal-loving gay man. Hairy, muscular, ultra-masculine, yum.
R29 - I love all of that too - but that face is a bit weird for me. Those arms and that ass are perfection.
GAWD, those shoulders and pecs!
R30, that ass is flat.
Riley Cooper was at a Kenny Chesney concert Saturday night and got on stage with him. I think all these guys are in the closet. Cooper is a major douche!
He is so fucking ugly, I can't believe he's a DL topic.

What does he do that gives off that vibe? Cooper and Tebow were joined at the hip when they roomed together. The student newspaper had a photo of them kissing.
Tebow was considered a hottie in gay circles years before he became a national phenomenon. I remember first seeing and collecting his pics on hunk sites many years ago.
His body looked better during his college years. He had great shoulders and pecs with a slimmer waste. He grew very thick in the middle about two years ago. His ass isn't great.
The photo at r7 isn't Tebow. It's Detroit left tackle Jeff Backus. Note the DET in the upper left corner.
The only way Tim Tebow will become a tight end is with anal rejuvenation surgery.
All I can say is that during Tebow's reign, we never once beat the fucking gators.
Drive south to the largest outdoor cocktail party in the world, eat, drink, get a little wild, and then get completely deflated.
It was so depressing.
Uh, r40, echo..
R5's pic is a cookie wiffer!

I'm totally OK with that. With all that muscle, a little beef around the middle is perfectly fine.
Yeah, he'll probably have a hard time keeping the weight off when he gets older. But that'll be problem for Tim and his boyfriend. I just want to fuck him, not marry him.
Tim Tebow credits his Mom for putting an end to his prideful ways:
“I was the baby of five,” Tebow explained. “I grew up on a farm on the west side of Jacksonville. I had four older siblings, so you learn to be competitive at an early age. We always competed in the yard. By the time I started playing sports, I was four, about to turn five. My parents signed me up for T-ball. The last thing I’d do on Saturday was play a game, but the first thing I would do on Sunday was go to church.
When I’d go, I’d tell everybody, ‘look, I hit three home runs yesterday. I went four for four.' At a young age, I was very arrogant, very proud.”
Boasting a haughty personality during his childhood didn't sit well with his mother. She made Tebow memorize bible verses on humility because of this, such as Proverbs 15:33, James 4:6, and 2 Chronicles 7:14. He had to repeat the verses word for word to her before his weekly games. He said this eventually lead to him becoming a more humble athlete.
“I realized you are no better just because you’re decent at a sport,” Tebow said. “It doesn’t make you special just because you can play baseball, football, basketball—those are just gifts from God. We’re all blessed with different gifts but that doesn’t make us more special or better. God gave us a gift and it’s about how we use it for his honor and his glory.”
