This case gets more bizarre by the day.
Apparently this guy Todashev, confessed to murdering the three dealers with Tamerlan. He did not say Jahar partcipated in the killings nor does it seem he mentioned Jahar being present a the scene but rather that it was a drug related murder.
He was about to sign a confession and then went for the FBI guys with a knife and was shot dead. There are so many twists and turns to this case. Conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day.
Translation: Tamerlan and Dzhokhar committed the triple murders as well as the bombings after the FBI had been warned about the Tsarnaevs by the Russians. Bad enough the FBI dropped the ball and the bombing happened, but to admit the Tsarnaevs did the triple murder of at least two Jewish people on the 10th anniversary of 9/11? No. The FBI will not admit to that much fucking up. So they claim this guy did the killings and then .... oops! He pulled a knife right before he could sign the confession and had to be shot. Bad luck, eh old man? Ah well...
Doesn't matter. The media will report anything the FBI tells them to report and Americans don't want to know the truth anyway.
Sounds like a coy Saturday evening
For those that live in Boston, was this triple murder big news when it happened in 2011? Who were the suspects back then? Odd that the case would just fade away like that (until now).
There is no way this was a drug related murder however I don't believe the younger brother was involved.
Todashev would have mentioned him, he had nothing to lose and if the FBI were covering up, they would't have allowed Tamerlan's name to be used either. They just would have blamed Todashev alone or said he was with someone else.
This will play into the defense's hands. They will likely use this to show Tamerlan's cruelty and violence to imply that Johar was pretty much at his brother's mercy. I am not saying that is what happened but it certainly helps their case.
Saves the taxpayers attorney and trial fees. Good riddance
Is this one of those unfortunate events where we find out the victim died with a pen in his hand, because he was really only reaching for a pen to sign documents?
This whole thing is very fishy
If the FBI questioned him multiple times, why were they having him sign the confession in his apartment?
Given that he was a key suspect in a triple murder and had been interviewed by the FBI many times, wouldn't they have gone to his apartment and taken him to the local FBI Offices for questioning?
The whole thing does not add up...
