Grammar Question - Serviced/Served
Saw an ad for organization which said they service five hundred clients. AFAIK equipment is serviced, people are "served."
- This is a usage question. Do you have a grammar question?
- What's the question?
- " AFAIK equipment is serviced, people are "served." "
I agree with OP, but I'll add:
AFAIK equipment is serviced and animals bred (serviced), but people are "served."
- OP here. Are people served or serviced? And I don't mean what hookers do for a living.
- People are served.
- You got served
- We service people.
