Yes,it's a well done film.
Beautiful, tragic story wonderful acting. I cried in the theater, at home when I bought the DVD and every time I have seen it.
I can't watch it any more. It stays with you if you know what I mean.
Its a sad store, great filming, good actors should have won best file that year but the Academy chickened out and went for Crash...which of course dropped off the radar.
Unfortunately, when I went, even in a big city of LA two people walked out half way through the gay part. It's Hollywood, a gay film, what were they expecting?
Donnie Darko is better.
I found it boring.
All those sheep.
Great movie. But those Anne Hathaway wigs are so distracting.
I love the way Ang caught that moment when the one sheep stopped to take a dump as the flock was moving up the mountain.
Great script...fine film.
Interesting study of two bi guys trying to make it happen.
Ang Lee is a very good director .
The stuff filmheads rave about was keen enough, but the story made no sense. A gay fairy tale for those of us queer back in them days.
Ang Lee is my favorite dictator.
Is Ang Lee family? He's made several movies with gay or gay-friendly content. The Wedding Banquet, Brokeback Mountain, Sense and Sensibility,...
Beautifully filmed, but dull as shit
R15 - Dull? Seriously?
"All those sheep."
One of them came with a Twist. I swear.
R12, wtf are you talking about?
How did the story "make no sense"?
And don't fairy tales have happy endings?
