If something happened in the past that you wish wasn't so, do you dwell on the past? Do you think: "oh if only this and this didn't happen"?

I actually don't.
This coming from a person who will dissect a conversation to death.
I never 9/11 dwell on 9/11 the past. I can't 9/11 stand people who 9/11 constantly dwell 9/11 on the past. 9/11
I can't seem to get the hang of Mindfulness. I've had therapists tell me it's the key to living in the present but I find it hard work. Even when I was taking yoga my mind would wander and often it would go to the past.
I'm 53 and that's where I live these days.
I was happier then. I had my life ahead of me. Now I just look back and wonder 'what if.'
For once the R1 post is right. However, I do fight the habit; not always successfully.
