This so-called sport has too few rules to be taken seriously. It can be very entertaining or completely boring, like when they grapple on the floor the whole fight.

The grappling/wrestling aspect takes up far too much of the fights. UFC is now deadly dull. It's bloody, but it's boring.

I got a new sports channel that has loads of UFC fights. I haven't watched them earlier (except for some short clips at Youtube) but I'm noticing I'm liking the MMA fighting. Yeah there's certainly a homoerotic element to it but part of me enjoys the violence and rawness of it. Man against man. I've always liked martial arts in entertainment but never got into the them myself, if you don't count non combat Tai Chi.

One guy was just kicked in the balls so bad he was on his knees almost vomiting for 4 minutes. "The balls hurt so bad I couldn't breath" he was telling his team on a break. Apparently protective ball cups don't soften all hits.
