I'd rather spend time with my cat than with my mother
My mother's so bossy and dominant that it's hard to be around her. I find my cats more pleasing to be around. Discuss.
Discuss, what? Your relationship with your mother?
Or that you like cats?
Should be interesting.
It's up to you R1 :)
My cat's worth more to me than if there were five of my mom walking the planet.
Me, too, OP.
Knowing nothing of your mother or your cat, the cat seems by far the better bet.
Cats do not always observe boundaries but when you get a really good one, they're the best doms ever.
I feel the same, but my cat would prefer that I spend more time with my mother and less time with him.
Why would you want to spend time with your caftan? I mean WHY?
This is hardly unusual OP, nor does it mean that you don't love your mom. Pets are generally much easier to be around than human beings. Relationships between people are work. They are hard. And relationships with parents are often the most difficult.
I'd rather spend my life with a rabid hyena than my mother.
Another dolt of an OP whose cat wishes the cunt would spend a lot more time with her mother and leave the pussy in peace.
I have two cats, and I'd trade them both for one more day with my Mom.
I miss you Mom! Love, your lesbian daughter.
I prefer cats to my mother. I won't go into great detail, but she's always been a complete failure as a mother and as a human being in general. Her mind is, and never has been, quite all there. Cats are much more pleasant to be around.
I'm with R11. I love my cat dearly but I'd trade her in a heartbeat for another day with my mom....
Remember, OP. Your mom will not be around forever.

Well think of this, R13. Some moms' kids will not be around forever because they had to endure countless beatings and abuse and anger and the hands of said mom.
Just because they gave birth doesn't mean they have the maternal gift.
True, R3, but I've seen way too many cases of people crying over their parents AFTER they've passed away and wishing they had spent more time with them while they were alive. My siblings are two prime examples.
I didn't get the impression OP was a victim of physical abuse only that his mother annoyed him because she was bossy.
Neither will the cat, r13.
[R14] PREACH baby! So true.
I wish desperately that I had a mother with whom I longed to spend another day.
[R11] You are a lucky woman.
If a cat repeatedly attacks you and/or other people to the point where they're a known danger to human life and health, you can legally take it to the vet and have it euthanized. That's not true with a parent.
