LaToya, Kathy Hilton and Michael all had a pact as teens that when they had kids, they'd name them Paris. LaToya never had kids, so she named her dog (now deceased) Paris.
I liked it, she's very strange and odd and I want to see where this goes. She sort of hinted that her family is quite a mess, but everyone knows that. She says she tries to stay out of their battles.
This looks like a fun, light show. You can laugh at/with LaToya without feeling bad because she's crazy but not in a "she's on drugs and is about to die" type of way. She's the only abnormally normal Jackson.
That's a switch, R4, because she used to be the cause of a bulk of the family drama. I guess with age comes wisdom.
The show would be better if Detective LaToya solved a new crime every week.
R6 that is true, but that was during that bizarre period when she was married (or held hostage by) to that mobster guy.
Kathy Hilton is on the show. She must have problems with Kyle since she's never on her show.
BORING ! The worst offense a TV show can commit
LaToya is so strange. It's like she never grew up.
Where does this woman get the money for a Rolls?
Re La Toya's ex:
[quote]Reid served as chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission from 1977 to 1981. When Jack Gordon, LaToya Jackson's future agent and husband, offered Reid a $12,000 bribe to approve new games for casinos, Reid brought in the FBI to tape Gordon's bribery attempt and arrest him. After FBI agents interrupted the transaction, as prearranged, Reid lost his temper and began choking Gordon, saying "You son of a bitch, you tried to bribe me!" Gordon was convicted in 1979 and sentenced to six months in prison. In 1981, Reid's wife found a bomb attached to the family station wagon; Reid suspected it was placed by Gordon.
