The last time I ate at Taco Bell my GI tract sent me a cease and desist letter.
They get credit for creating seemingly infinite menu items using the same 6 ingredients.
I used to love Mexi-melts. A tortilla was Monterrey jack cheese, pico de gyo, ground meat and sour cream. With a few packets of hot sauce, and lemon lime Slice? Mm, that was good eating to my 28 year old self.

I had never in my life eaten at a Taco Bell.
Saw those Cantina bowls and had to try them.
They are surprisingly good.
A lot of components to it and you can taste each one.
Those Sprite-y drinks with cherry or lime are good too.
There are so many truly great, cheap, fast places to get Mexican food here in Los Angeles, I can't imagine ever going to Taco Bell.
I used to eat it occasionally so I could get some Taco Bell dogs, but once they fired Ginger, I was SO out of there.
Only a cheap hog would eat there.

It's not about getting 'Mexican food'. Obviously the food there is not authentic or anything. But some of it is still flavorful.
I like my local taquerias as well as anyone, but Taco Bell can be tasty too.
Why would anyone go to Taco Bell when tacos are so easy and cheap to make at home? And you also control the ingredients so no artificial flavors and all organic.

I do, too... but I need to make sure when I have it that I'm in the vicinity of my toilet.
