He didn't "seem" gay? .. How do gay people "seem?"
[quote]How do gay people "seem?"
Uh, you know... "gay."
That's not a coming out that's a refutation of his being gay.
Do you not speak Spanish or do you simply have a reading comprehension problem?
r27 you're an idiot. Spanish is my first language.
The first article posted by OP is a roundabout coming out statement, attributed to Daddy Yankee. Then the link at r24 is a denial by his rep that includes the picture that caused it all (not Daddy Yankee according to his people), some past tweets and sound bites from Daddy Yankee when he had previously denied being gay last March, a recent tweet allegedly in reaction to yesterday's rumors, and finally, for dramatic effect on behalf of the people who wrote the article I suppose, the original "coming out" statement that OP had already posted.
Ahora cállate la boca y vete a dormir, que cuando despiertes la historia habrá concluido.
That pic is evidence of nothing. You can't even see the dude's face.
Love him, r31, but he's no Sean Paul (WHET him BTW?)
Sean Paul is sexy as hell too, R32. He recently had a top 20 rap hit "Got 2 Luv U", which was featured in Magic Mike. He cut off his hair into a mohawk. I was pissed at first because I loved his long cornrows, but I've grown to like it.
I don't get it.. he didn't really come out? Yet so many people on twitter seems to think he did! He's been trending worldwide for like 24 hours now.
The headline on my link has now been changed to "Daddy Yankee clarifies his supposed homosexuality." Looks like I posted a dud.
Daddy Yankee Gay Rumors: Denied By Publicist
Spanish-language media and bloggers have been in a frenzy over the sexual orientation of Daddy Yankee, the reggaeton king. But is there anything to debate?
The swirling gay rumors reached a crescendo Wednesday after photos of a man resembling Daddy Yankee kissing another man surfaced on the web.
The pics were reprinted by various celebrity gossip outlets.
That set off another round of innuendo and confusion.
According to some accounts, Daddy Yankee released a statement acknowledging that he is gay, and asking the media to respect his and his family's privacy.
"I am a human being like any other, with virtues and defects, and I don't believe that this is a defect," he was quoted as saying in a statement to the press and fans.
But according to other news reports, the 36-year-old singer, born Ramon Ayala, used a press conference to castigate the rumor mill for spreading falsehoods.
"Now, again to you ignorant ones: the Internet is where the lies become truth and truth becomes myth. Wake up, bobo!" Daddy Yankee is also quoted as saying.
Finally, a PR agency identifying itself as Daddy Yankee's publicist refuted online rumors that the Puerto Rican artist had acknowledged he is gay.
Wednesday afternoon, the offices of Nevarez Communications and Perfect Partners in Florida issued a statement that the reports were completely false:
"Online blogs and social media are once again to blame for the spread of false reports, which other media outlets have also shared regarding a public figure."
"The reports circulating regarding Daddy Yankee's declaration of homosexuality are false."
The reports, his PR company says, "were written by an online outlet known for fabricating false information and spreading it through social media sites."
