His performance in Brokeback Mountain was so one-dimensional...mumble mumble mumble. And his Joker was a Nicholson rip off. How did that guy ever make it as an actor?
There will always be haters.
Yes but for the Joker.
[quote]And his Joker was a Nicholson rip off.
Did you even see either movie?
weak, just weak and obvious.
I don't think he deserved an Oscar for his Joker role. But then again, I don't think Natalie deserved her Oscar either.
the academy gave him the Oscar for Batman as a consulation prize for pissing on Brokebrack Mountain and also for being dead. This is typical of these AMPAS old farts. Who the hell remembers Capote or Crash.
"Consultation prize." I'm gonna steal that.
OP...go watch your Transformers movie.
Read the post again, R7. It doesn't say "consultation."
Heath really was overated. This post is rigged.
OP you are manipulative cunt and a obvious cunt at that.
He didn't deserve an Oscar for "The Dark Knight" in my opinion, but he gave more heart in his final scene in "Monster's Ball" than Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton combined in that film.
Agree r5 on both points.
HEATH LEDGER, WORST ACTOR EVER?
Obviously you're not familiar with Matthew Broderick.
*waits for Heath Ledger troll's head to explode*
I realize the OP is just trolling, to fuck with the the obsessive Heath Ledger FAN......but frankly, I didn't understand the big deal about this guy, either.

Yes he did deserve it, grow up! But, he was great in Monster's Ball. First time I realized that Heath can act.
Yes, R9, but it doesn't say "consolation" either.
I didn't like Ledger's performance as "Joker".
I really liked him in "Ten Things I Hate about You"
Another stupid post designed the provocate.
I think r21 just had a stroke in mid-post.
ventriloguist act in an echo chamber
He was a great actor.... Monsters Ball, Brokeback Mountain, Candy... I wasn't crazy about the Joker only because I'm not a Batman fan but that doesn't mean he didn't deliver a great performance.
I keep telling people, his Joker wasn't based on Jack Nicholson, he was doing an Al Franken impression.
He was an okay actor who copped some really good roles he filled adequately, then died, thus inflating his reputation to James Dean proportions.
