Have you anything to say about horse-face David Gregory? Tim Russert was a lumpy fug. Chris Matthews would never be allowed on TV decades ago because of his weight and face and irritating voice.

Chris Matthews' speech is the WORST!

I remember he once criticized someone's "NJ accent." He should listen to his own speech some time.

(And Wolfie Blizter's speech is awful, too. He accents the wrong syllables and has a dull monotone. And he's even ugly with his facelift and nose job.)

He was terrible as the guest host on MTP this morning. However, Peggy Noonan was in full camp mode today. I love how she looks up into the sky and squints her eyes before she speaks, as if her words are coming straight from heaven.

Anyway, I can't remember the exact quote, but a few years ago someone on DL cracked me up by pointing out that Chuck Todd looks like he has sauce from buffalo wings smeared on their face. He's clearly one of those guys who has to be the smartest one in this room (yet his name screams "classless striver").

I detest Chuck Todd, but not for his looks. He & David Gregory, Mika & Joe Scarborough are my least favorite MSNBC-ers. I find Todd to be smug, snide, and narrowminded, and he's way oversold as some kind of expert, which he is definitely not. I think he's an asshole.

He offers these insights and analyses as if he were some kind of insider and he isn't. My numbers guy is Nate Silver now & forever. Todd and Luke Russert belong to Tim's era. They need to go.

I like Chuck. For the most part he is balanced and analytical unlike David Gregory.

As for Peggy Noonan- everytime I hear her talk in the smug, sing-song voice I just want smack her!

Strange, but I've never found Chuck Todd particularly unattractive. Certainly no more so than a lot of males that preside over news broadcasts, that's for sure.

Mr. Todd isn't so much a Republican, as he doesn't like the Obama Administration. He's great at crunching the numbers re: electoral politics, but as an "analyst" he's pretty bad.

Indeed he can get quite petty ... last year he tried to goad Matthews into a fight on air, but Chris wouldn't bite saying (paraphrased): "I see where you want to go, and that's not going to happen."

Further, far too often, he injects himself into the news, trying to stir up trouble. For instance, during Obama's recent visit to Israel, Todd asked the following questions:

To Obama: "We’re in your second term with the Middle East peace process. What went wrong? Why are we further away from a two-state solution?...Did you push Israel too hard? What do you wish you would have done differently?"

To Bibi Netanyahu, including: "...[D]o you accept the president’s understanding that Iran is a year away when it comes to nuclear weapons?...Why do you believe the Israeli people have not embraced President Obama the same way they embraced our last two presidents?"

He is a smug bastard and an embarrassment as a US "newsman" globally.

Perhaps Chuck Todd can explain to us why the US media has been claiming that Iran is "eighteen months away from having a nuclear bomb" for the last ten or twelve years.

He's pissed. Obama does not give the White House correspondence the access they want. Obama hates talking to them because none of them report the news anymore. Todd and his friends are more interested in putting a spin to it.

I find male gingers, on the whole, repulsive.

I love Chris Matthews. He's obnoxious, rude, grating, and opinionated. What you see is what you get. But he's also smart, experienced, and passionate. He loves government, history, and politics. I love that when I watch him I both know exactly what to expect, and never know what to expect.And I don't recall any other white man of his prominence being so consistently outspoken about racism.

In fact, MSNBC, Matthews, Sharpton, Maddow, Ed Schultz, Larry O'Donnell, and their punditocracy:David Korn, Katrina Vanden Heuvel, Joan Walsh, Melissa Harris Perry, Chris Hayes, Touree, The Reid woman from Griot, Alex Wagner, Jonathan Alter, Eugene Robinson, all of them are interesting, provocative, and intelligent.

They distinguish themselves by their energy and their brilliance. It's the Tiffany line-up of the editorial/current affairs analysis programming on TV. I love that they have great sources like Mother Jones, Salon, The Nation, and Politico, Nate Silver, and are on the cutting edge of credible new media analysis and information.

The only commenter I cannot stand is Michael Erik Dyson. He is infuriating. They need to send him over to CNN. He'd do well as a replacement for Roland Martin. His affected style and race based commentaries are anachronistic.

Howard Fineman is like Chuck Todd. Neither one likes Obama. There's something so intellectually dishonest about Fineman, and something so snide and chip on the shoulder about Todd, Todd reminds me of Ed Henry.

Obama likes The MSNBC crowd mostly, but he reserves his face time for two people: Brian Williams and Rachel Maddow. Like everyone else, Barry loves Rachel.
