Seems like the 70's & 80's were filled with camp (personalities, tv, movies, books, music) .... recently, not so much .....
If you disagree that camp is dead, please give some recent examples of camp that show that the campy stuff still lives on. TIA.
The thing about camp is its best when its unintentional. When someone sets out to produce something camp, they often fail (Rocky Horror being one of the few exceptions.)
Nicki Minaj at the Grammys. She thought she was being artsy and avant garde, but she's like a litle black girl who won a minority scholarship to a fancy art school- and just doesn't get it.
Madonna showing off her cooch in concert last summer was camp.
Let's hope that it is...dead and gone for good, do not resuscitate!
Not as long as we have Tyler Perry
flag: [ww] [ff] [troll-dar] I wrote this before on here. Maria wants us to believe she has higher standards. She knew Arnold cheated an largely looked the other way. Don't believe the innocent act.

Once Upon a Time
Camp died when society got so uptight about masculinity as to invent the word 'bromance.'
That, and every cunt who ever cunted having access to the internet, and as such the ability to try and cause a shitstorm, means that you'll probably never see the likes of Paul Lynde on US TV again.
Plenty of Jewish kids still go to camp.
Not as long as QVC & HSN are still on air.
David Venable's yum yum face
I thought this was about a 1980's Jamie Lee Curtis flick.
