Tonight show is coming home
Jimmy Fallon to host from New York. Does this mean they will move The Late Show to LA?

- They're going to have to pry the Tonight Show from Leno's cold, dead hands.
Here's hoping...
- Crap. They can't get many good guests in NY.
- My dear late mama took me once a year during my teens for a theater and Carson week in NYC from our turnipburg town in Virginia. OH! The thrill of seeing Johnny Carson live in his prime. Those were the days of "Hair", "Promises, Promises", "Baker Street" and "1776". We also were able to see David Frost and some cornball game shows.
This may be mean, but I have LIVED for the day that Jay Leno would get his for the shitty tactics he used to get "The Tonight Show" in the first place.
Who is the presumptive favorite to take over "Late Night"? Joel McHale?
Mrs.%20Letterman
- Did you see Betty Lynn in 1776 r3?
- If they move it to NY there goes the ratings!
- Aren't there a lot of stars living in NY?
- Letterman is already there but I have to say that if they're going for a younger demographic, staying in LA like Jimmy Kimmel is smarter because the younger performers that most of us have never heard of are in greater supply in LA.
- I am so incredibly SICK of the obsession over these lame ass late night "comic" talk shows.
Nobody gives a fuck and the people who watch them constantly aren't really the productive, relevant members of society.
- Kimmel would LOVE to be in NYC.
- California does have that earthquake and radiation problem.
- And yet here you are, R8.
- Most of the guests on these shows are on publicity tours for something. The problem is that if Today, Tonight and Late Show are all in NYC, there will be more overlap in who's available. I bet they move Late Show to LA.

Yet you are here, commenting on this thread. What a lame ass fuck you are.
- I'll have to leave the kids with the Nanny. I appear on a talk show at least once a week.
Jennifer Garner
- New York does have that rat and cockroach infestation problem.
