Boston Globe columnist thinks Iraq War was worth it
I don't remember Bush & Co. discussing a regime change.

- Bump
- The "war" was promoted as a way to bring much needed stability to the Middle East.
On that alone, it failed miserably. The Middle East was a powder keg waiting to explode and it still is today. See Syria and Egypt.
It did bring untold wealth to Dick Cheney and his buddies, civilian military contractors. Mission accomplished there, eh Georgie boy?
The author of the article says 70% of Americans supported the war. I didn't support it then. Even then I knew anything coming out of GWB and Cheney's mouths was a bunch of lies.
- To that columnist- Go tell that to those who fought in that war:

- A war's goals can change midstream.
