Diana sure was beautiful. And she could wear clothes better than anyone else.
All those lucious velvets. When is velvet going to come back in a big way, fashionistas?
No one today wears dresses that will become iconic. Diana did it best.
Photo #7 is the dress to watch.
Iconic dress, iconic moment.
Diana in our hearts 4eva
Why are they selling those gowns?
Are they hard up for money?
Is this Camilla's idea?
Do any UK DLers know?
80s fashion was ghastly. The only ones that look timeless are #6, the Zandra Rhodes and #3, the black dress she wore at the White House when she danced with Travolta.
This is a sick world when people go without food and someone has hundreds of thousands of dollars to waste on that crazy slut's old dress.
Where does the money from this sale go to? Her brother?
They will never be another who has the charisma and appeal of Diana. Long live Diana.
William certainly inherited her mouth. She was very attractive but I wish she'd changed her hair up. It looked very soccer-momish to me.
r6 and r9, neither the royal family nor the Spencers have anything to do with this. These are dresses that Diana auctioned off for charity before she died, and whoever bought them then is now selling them (or maybe some of them have changed hands more than once since then, I don't know).
SHUT UP R8, you dumbass, deranged anti Diana troll!
Princess Diana and Sarah, Duchess of York, had personalities. They were fun, interesting; they had some charisma, some pizzaz. They could talk in public and people wanted to hear what they had to say.
But today's royals are a bunch of crashing bores who have very little appeal.

Who paid for the dresses in the first place?
Too bad the infamous Versace "illuminati" gown isn't one of them. Most of these gowns are unfortunate examples of eighties fashion. But a few are quite wonderful.
