- I loved him in this B-movie he starred in with Tommy Lee Jones, called "Rolling Thunder". He drew my eye more than Tommy Lee.
He was also sexy in "Marathon Man" and playing the Burt Lancaster role in the 1979 miniseries "From Here to Eternity".
- I got a little obsessed with the movie Marathon Man, after finding out that Scheider and Devane were supposed to be lovers. I was a budding slash fan when this film came out, and this was fantasy fodder.
- I thought he was totally hot, back in the day. That killer smile, hairy, buff bod, and he had that sense of danger. I was a kid, and to me , he was a hot daddy.
