Southwest Florida, where is the gay beach?

My brother moved to Port Charlotte, and I'm wondering where the gay beach on the Gulf Coast is in this part of Florida...Sanibel, Captiva, Ft. Myers, Venice, where do the boys go?

• The "gays" in that part of Florida are mostly married closeted retirees.
