Does Barbra really believe all that nonsense in the Torah?

I hate to think of her sitting home reading those long boring stories when she could be adding miniatures to her doll house collection or mall walking in her private mall.

• OP, Rabbis, traditionally the most learned men (and now women) in the community, have spent countless hours discussing the relevance of the stories in the Torah to everyday life. Obviously not every part is given equal weight. The story of early feminist Queen Esther and hater Haman is celebrated with the holiday of Purim. Barbara, like many Jews, may identify as just culturally Jewish, and focused on the traditional importance of music and education.
