Colin Firth? We have hardly heard of him since Oscar

Curse of oscar strikes again? What has Colin Firth done of note since his win 2 years ago ? - one of the team in Tinker Tailor (but it wasn't his film) ... and a limp remake of a 60s comedy Gambit which did not cause much interest? or am I missing something? Is Colin as big as he was ?

• Bill Haydon in Tinker is not a minor role. But he keeps up a fairly strong pace: three films out in 2012, two likely out this year, one being filmed, three in pre-production. Not all of them can be The King's Speech.

• According to IMDB he has 6 titles currently in pre- or post- production or currently shooting. Take that, Dan Stevens !

• I hated The Kings Speech, totally forgettable - but loved A Single Man, though it was nothing like Isherwood's classic book.

• Well he's certainly not warming my bed so I don't really care!
