I hope she has some jobs hiding underneath their seats.
Probably no one, as usual.
[quote]Who will she bring as "... and Guest"- Steadman or Gayle?
Judging from that photo, I hope she brings a new hairdresser.
My immediate thought on seeing that pic was: Damn, Miss Ross has gained some weight.
Harvard = joke!
How exciting for the students. I am sure she will give a wonderful and inspiring speech. It is great for young women have strong intelligent and successful as role models. I think Oprah should bring another woman who is a great role model as her guest. Maybe someone closer to their age like Best Actress Winner Jennifer Lawrence. Jennifer is a shining example of courage strength perseverance and humanitarianism. I am certain she would be a welcome addition to any commencement ceremony.
First line of her speech:
I'm having an a-Harvard moment! Yessss! John Travollttaaa!
And everyone is getting a new car!!
A few of her students at the Oprah academy in South Africa are in Harvard. Many more are attending college in the US. These girls won't go back to South Africa. We all know it. There are so many more resources here and it's safer. So what is the point of the academy if they all move here? These students will be helping the US not South Africa. The whole point of the academy was to help South Africa.
The whole point was to help Oprah's legacy and black girls.

Actually, in the OWN documentary about the first graduating class, a significant majority of the girls are staying in Africa or Europe despite college campus visits in the U.S.
Very, very few want to come to America. Plus, Oprah designed the Academy to further Nelson Mandela's vision of a better SA, so the plan is for them to stick around there.
An ABC story from January says only 10% are coming to the US
OK, everyone I've heard of was coming to America.
There is a bucket of fried chicken under each graduate's chair.
