A mixture of both. Mostly Grammy-winning songs. So hard.
What is your process? I need help, please. I've been writing for 20 years and have over 200 songs, but most are unfinished.
I usually play chords and then I sing whatever lyrics and melody automatically come out of me based on the chord, but I need help with taking that basic chord and making it sound more interesting, adding bass, other instruments, harmonies, etc.
