What is something you absolutely love to death and are obsessed with and can't stop talking about?

I need a new obsession. Battlestar Galactica is over. Lost went out with a whimper. Health Ledger is dead. Justin Bieber is 19. Buffy was a decade ago. Friends was two decades ago. RENT is now passe. American Idol has gone down the tubes. One Direction is so last year. I feel so empty now. I need something to be passionate about. Please help!

• Watch Scandal. Seasons 1 & 2 (in progress) are available thru Hulu Plus. Catch up just in time for a new episode 3/21. Love this show! Tony Goldwyn has his shirt off a lot, and he's beautiful at any age. The first lady is a power-mad hoot. Everyone is evil in their own delightful way. Its my new addiction.

• I second Downton Abbey. Catching up on all three seasons can take a while, OP, and will buy you some time to latch on to the next "big thing."

• R35, it took me a few episodes to really get hooked. Episode 6, The Trail, has a lot of flashbacks and sets up the ongoing conspiracy nicely. Season 2 is all good, but episode 13 "Nobody Likes Babies" (title is a quote from first lady/new mom Mellie – LOVE her) is the penultimate. It's like five episodes packed into 50 minutes.

• Another Scandal addict! This show has taken over my life and it's a good thing! I'm always posting in the DL Scandal thread. I read all the Scandal tumblr blogs. I look at the ratings for Scandal every Friday. For me it's the best thing on tv. Two more weeks until a new episode...I can't take it!

• A Song of Ice and Fire books. Obsessed would be an apt description of my fondness for this fantasy series.

• How about Matthew Macfadyen on BBC's Ripper Street? He's an up and comer.

• Walking Dead - if you can take the blood, it's one of the best shows out there! Game of Thrones - If you can keep up with all of the characters and their names, this is great escapism! Happily Divorced - Never liked Fran Dresher in "The Nanny" days, but this show is just damn funny!

• I'm with Mary! At R10, I do the same thing AND I'm currently obsessed with anti aging products. Let me tell you about my routine! Wash in the evening and morning with Philosophy's Purity, bedtime I apply Green Cream level 9, let that cook for an hour or two, then apply Emu Oil over the top to push the retinol deep into my skin and to hydrate and soothe. Wake up, wash, few drops of emu oil and Oil of Olay micro sculpting cream. Evening I wash again and apply 10% Glycolic Acid night cream, let it cook a few hours and again apply Emu Oil. Alternating nights with Green and Glycolic. My skin is a dream!!!!

• Go to Netflix and watch marathons of all of the AMC shows. Trust me, you'll become obsessed.

• Wolves and otters. Theys my favorites.

• Benedict Cumberbatch. Perhaps I'm late to the party? DIdn't see Sherlock; did see Tinker, Tailor - like 6 times!(On Demand); just watched the 5-episode "Parade's End" - HBO - up on Demand, too - wow...just wow!! I haven't seen a Star Trek movie - well, ever (am old; remember the original TV show; cackle, cackle!) but a recent EW cover story mentions he's in it and there's great sspeculation about who (a villian?) he's playing. GREAT actor - I'm obssessed!!

• I was enjoying "Revenge", but it's really gone south this season.

• I am also obsessed with anti aging products. I use retin-a, and MUAC products. I am also loving my clarisonic brush. The only show that I watch is American Horror story. I tried to look up Downton Abbey, but couldn't find it on directv.

• Once Upon a Time...you can obsess over the lost references in each episode.

• That green cream mentioned above has methylparabens in it. I looked it up. Not a great ingredient. I like natural remedies. I use avocado oil before I shave, after I shower, and it works great. No cuts, skin looks great. I learned it here. I am interested in high dv video and editing, learning from the greats.
