Burt Wonderstone: Funny or Homophobic?

Just saw Burt Wonderstone. Loved Alan Arkin; he's so talented. Olivia's face looked beautiful but reminded me of a wax statue. Fast paced, and some fab jokes and ironic humor. There was some cringe worthy homophobia, so be forewarned.

• It's always uncomfortable for me to watch someone else being mercilessly made fun of because of who he/she is, not for what he/she does. The 2 leads were a partial parody of Sigfried and Roy. They were so popular at their height in Vegas, before Cirque's emergence, that many local comediennes cruelly dissed their competition for evening entertainment. I dislike homophobic jokes, especially those done in very poor taste. Steve Bucsemi's character IMHO appears way too over-the-top ridiculous to be remotely believable. Like the comediennes who used to dis Roy, it gets old really quick. In contrast Alan Arkin is truly funny because he doesn't try too hard, and is trying to make valid points about trends in entertainment.
