DUTCH version of The Golden Girls premieres?!

Are you guys aware in the Netherlands they've made a remake of the Golden Girls? It's begun airing apparently. Here's the opening title segment. Is it supposed to be any good? Is there a way to watch it with English subtitles? After all, I've seen every episode of the original series at least 3 times, could be fun to watch these!

• Oh god, the intro comes off like a Dutch parody of the original.

• Apparently it's a literal remake, complete with recycled storylines; however, the names have changed. Dorothy is Els, Blanche is Barbara, Rose is Milly, and Sophia is Toos (Toos?).

• I have always wondered about Brighton Belles. I remember seeing a clip of it somewhere. Was it really that bad?

• 'NIEMAND IS LEUKER DAN JIJ!!! -It has a nice ring to it. Frankly, just acting skills are the lowest in Europe, so don't expect much, it's very cute premise though, I totally see these older gals running around on bus trips in France, going to Casinos and causing trouble.

• I remember Frank Thornton (Cptn Peacock on Are You Being Served) commenting on Brighton Belles in some interview a couple of years ago. For some reason he was asked about Brigton Belles. He said that it didn't work because Golden Girls itself was so incredibly popular in Britain that no one wanted to see an inferior remake.

• Dank u voor het zijn een vriend! sorry, charlie, what you'd ACTUALLY say in Dutch is, "Dank je voor een vriend te zien!" but that sounds unidiomatic. The text they use in the song is" No one is nicre than You!"

• The fonts of the Dutch intro seems so primitive and amateur. They would never use such simple fonts in the US. And why are they showing them shoplifting a Wicked book? Is crime supposed to be endearing because it's done by old people?

• r21 I saw a play version of Golden Girls all played by drag queens, in the village, I think about 10-12 years ago. Very well done and very funny. They used one set (the house) and re-created episodes. Unfortunately the company doing it thought they had the rights, but didn't, and were shut down.
