R5 depends on which part of China you are from. Not all of us have "the yellow hue". People from Guandong, hong kong, the ones that are in U.s. tend to look dark. If you go to Northern China, there are some that are naturally that light-skinned. I've seen her without makeup, she is naturally that light.

The pale hue in her dress is combined with light makeup, and I think the color choice was used to emphasize her light skin. She is extrordinarily pretty, and probably tall for a Chinese lady as well. Just because the Chinese like our fashion sense does not mean they want to be white, let us remember. She is unique and is recognized as such. No one is trying to turn her into a blonde.
