Bad Customer Service

Which companies are the worst offenders for repeatedly providing bad customer service? Which is the worst industry for overall bad customer service? Which companies repeatedly provide the best customer service in their field? Any stories?

• Well now that Tower Records is out of business, the position is wide open.

• Best Buy, supposedly.

• Comcast. Their customer service reps sit behind bullet proof glass in their service centers. That tells you everything you need to know.

• Duane Reade pharmacy, bad in the sense that they are as slow as can be. Then again. if I had to deal with all the crazy New Yorkers and their ailments and their insurance issues and their yelling... I'd be a mess too.

• I went to the Cheesecake Factory and every time I go there, there is this hot blonde waitress that spend all her time talking to the four nerdiest guys you ever seen.
