What's the name of the gay ex-seminarian who writes on homosexuality in the Catholic priesthood?

I came across him yesterday, meant to remember his name so I could read more from him. I believe he was a Catholic seminarian, who left, and has now written and spoken out about the prevalence of gay men in seminaries and the priesthood

• That reminded me of something. My dad was a seminarian for a couple of years. He went to a reunion at the seminary years later and said it was like "a day at the Castro". That was back in the mid-80's.
