• No, it's not dumb, R4. Ken Mehlman is a self-loathing gay asshole who was behind the vilification of gay people in the 2004 election. He deserves no white-washing. He deserves to be saddled with the same of his own evil for the rest of his life.

Gay matters aside, the Republican Party does not have my best interests in mind when it comes to policy. As we saw in the last election, the Republican Party is much more concerned with the 1% than the rest of us. I'm not a single issue voter so if Miss Mehlman ever decides to run for public office on a national level, I'd wouldn't vote for her skank ass regardless of her being gay, straight or asexual.
