Carrie Fisher Hospitalized, Receiving Treatment For Bipolar Disorder

"There was a medical incident related to Carrie Fisher’s bipolar disorder," her rep tells TMZ. "She went to the hospital briefly to adjust her medication and is feeling much better now."

• Her mom talked poignantly about her disease in the extras to her DVD of "Wishful Drinking". She said the family all gathers around and supports her, gets her through the bad times (they all live near each other). She said her whole personality changed at puberty.

• So sad. Carrie is such a talented person.

• Oh come on! She's obviously been drinking again! This "having her medications adjusted" is about as tired as "suffering from exhaustion", or quitting "to spend more time with my family"!

• When did Carrie Fisher ever stop drinking?

• You can't imagine how many timesh I had my medication adjushted!
