She looked like she just got off a three day bender with Charlie Sheen.
It will be so much fun when her career is over and she'll be there, all drunk and strung out, going "But y'all loved me yesterday, said I was brilliant, and hot." She can't even read a cue card. When you make Daniel Radcliffe look like Lord Olivier, you have real problems.
She hurt her foot or leg and was on crutches on the Red Carpet. She limped out on stage. She should have just stayed home. She was useless. Oh and she was probably very pissed that Jennifer Lawrence is living the life she should be.
Beyond just the limp, she also seemed dirty and high. She mumbled her lines, looked bored or stoned and just generally looked and behaved inappropriately.
She couldn't even pose properly. She kept on jiggling her leg like a meth addict.
Everything about this girl is wrong.
Like I said on the official Oscar thread, it's inexpelicable that her people let her attend.
Looking like a filthy, sickly mess in front of all the Hollywood power players can't be good for a starlet's career.
She can't be that delusional, R2.
Didn't her shit movie win 4 Razzies?
She looks like she can't be bothered with all that stuff.
Why the fuck is she even there?
The attention bothers her so why the fuck is she still there?
Go away and people will leave you alone.
She's so bored she can't even be bothered to run a fucking brush through her hair.
At least she has the "I stepped on broken glass" excuse. Renee Zellweger was much worse and has no such excuse--she was clearly high as a kite.
I suspect Renee Zellweger is not a well woman, but at least she was able to pull herself together enough to comb her hair!
Stewart looked like she wandered over from a trailer park, and was angry because she'd mislaid her beer.
When she came out with Radcliffe to present I thought she looked like she had just got done having sex backstage.
Then they showed her in the audience and I couldn't help myself from screaming "Brush your hair, skank!"
Her makeup looked fine so presumably someone was fixing her up so it was just weird.
Why did she bother showing up if she had just injured herself a couple of days ago?
She looked like trash.
Why does she look so awkward in dresses? The same way that Ellen looks awkward in dresses. What's going on there?
Her makeup was not fine. It looked non-existent, in a bad way. She's a tragedy waiting to happen.
I'd really like to know what was up with Renee Z. Drunk or too many pills? I keep hearing she was fucked up but was she tweaking or more stoned?
I don't think Renee has been well for awhile. She seems...unstable.
She kept tugging on the top of her dress, too. Low rent.
Renee's career is pretty much done — she's now mom-role age — and she's not dealing with it well.
Pain pills and a few drinks. Perhaps some pot.
I'm several days too late. We have all moved on to other things than the Oscars.
But, when she presented with the well-behaved Daniel Radcliffe, I was really afraid she would throw up on the stage. She seamed dizzy and in pain like someone very nauseated.
I know she hurt her foot, but, still, her way to handle it made her look bad.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
