Blue Thunder outrageously homophobic!

I can't believe how blatantly homophobic the movie Blue Thunder is and to think that was made less than 30 years ago. Of course, the evil colonel helicopter pilot is gayer than a flock of pigeons and all of the "good" heterosexuals mock him all throughout with "cocksucker", and mimicking his every word in faux gay voice. I like Roy Sheider, but his character definitely hates gays.

• In addition, it's scary to think that in 1983, they had helicopters that could listen through walls, fire 4000 rounds a minute, peak down dresses at 2000 feet, and fly under the radar, completely silent. Just imagine what they can do today. Actually, I read an article in a 1968 National Geographic that reported, at thousands of feet, they could spot a dime through thick forest in the dark of night!
