If I ripped off Ben Affleck's toupee: would I be arrested?
If I ever saw him in person I think I would have some sort of OCD type urge to touch his hair and see what is going on there. Could I plead insanity?
He is very adamant that he doesn't wear one. I don't know what to think.
Since he had expensive plugs and now has enmeshed things with a weave, ripping things off him would be the equivalent of a scalping.
And I think you should go ahead and do it.
Do plugs look good up close?
Yeah, I think he has it wired to his head or something. It sounds horrendously painful and gross, but he does look cute in his photos.
Leave Ben alone, God dammit! Touch him and I'll slap the spit out of your mouth!
I can just imagine a fan seemingly harmless asking to slightly touch his hair then after a quick laugh, ripping a chunk out.
Pay me enough and I'll do it.
Make sure you have a solid grip
Haha, I did not know he wore a wig.
It's an actor. Please yourself.
The man had cancer and his hair fell out. That is why in some photos he was bald.
It will be fixed very solidly with strong hairpiece glue and/or double-sided tape, so you couldn't pull it off without him losing a lot of skin in the process, so yes, you would be guilty of assault on him. You could probably pull up the front hairline and expose the mesh base of his wig, but unlikely you could pull the whole piece off. It would have to be soaked off with alcohol solvent.
The Hollywood movies you see where the guy's toupee falls off or blows off or is casually snatched off are fictional situations devised for comic effect; not real life. No real hairpiece wearer would go out in public without a secure attachment.
He clearly wore a wig in "Argo".
As for the people here who assume he's wearing supplemental hair in real life, did he have thinning hair when he started acting or are you suggesting he wore a piece even back then?
