Which was the better rock band: Guns N' Roses or Nirvana?

They came up about the same time, and seemed kind of rivals for while. Though grunge won out for a while, G + R survived it.

• G n R, big time. Just way more ROCK sound. Nirvana is ok but they depressed me then and they depress me now. GnR is classic.
