Yes I know, I was watching the View. They had the Dance Moms teacher on a a co-host and her troupe of girls did a performance.
The troupe did a performance of little girls in a car wreck, getting ejected and dying.
That's quite typical of the sort of stuff the Dance Moms have to perform.
^ I meant to type the kids on Dance Moms, not the moms themselves.
How many times have I told you to play Car Accident OUTSIDE?
They had some red-tinted corn syrup as a prop, but Sherry ate it.
Barbara, stoppng by the studio for a visit
I'll post a link if I find one. It was very well done for little girls dying in a car wreck. It ended with an apparent survivor crying and shaking the lifeless body of the driver.
I am not making this up.
THIS NEVER HAPPENED
R9, I didn't see The Pew today, but the kids did indeed do that routine on a Dance Moms episode. It was actually a lot better than it sounded; I happen to like Abby's wackier choreography.
What's the deal with Abby? Doesn't she call herself a "professional" choreographer even though she's never danced or choreographed for any major talent or show in her life?
I loved the "Otherly Abled" version of the dance, which was performed by the disabled and paralyzed children dancers off to the side. They had to change the plot, of course, and portrayed children left in a running car in a garage.
Very moving. Considering there was so little moving.
r11 I think she means she owns a successful dance company and is a choreographer there. I don't even like Dance Moms but there was a thread about it pretty recently and one of our DL'ers went to school with and lives in the same town as Abby. Again, a wrongly named thread because people thinks it's about the View and won't click on it to see it's an Abby Lee thread.
