Brendad Ickson's Autobiography: Now Available For Pre-Order!
Glamour!
[quote]The book has fabulous and stunning Hollywood color photographs taken by top photographers throughout my career, including my bestselling posters and glamorous, over the top, head and fashion shots, and the gowns I wore and parties I attended in Europe. It also covers my multi-million dollar lifestyle with my two husbands.
Drama!
[quote]It tells how the “Mafia” cartel judges and attorneys were enlisted to launder $15.5 million, my one-half of my two divorce settlements, and how they ruined my multi-million career and left me homeless, TWICE! Why they kept me out of Hollywood because I brought in more ratings than the entire show!
Nazis!
[quote]My internet film, “Welcome to My Home”, which I directed, wrote and produced after I left the show, was taken off the internet in an illegal copyright claim by Sony Pictures (the Bells) in 2009. In a short period of time it garnered 3 million viewers, and had they not taken it down it would have had more viewers than the entire show and was subsequently taken down illegally!!! And they knew it! The Bell Family thought they owned me! News Flash! This wasn’t Nazi Germany, or was it?
If she ever actually writes it ("available for pre-order"), I'll be first in line. Go Brendad!

- Ickson?
- Brendad?
- The bathing suit and hairstyle she's wearing on her "Miss California" photograph (in which she claims to be 17)does not correspond to the times. Currently 63, Dickson would have been 17 in 1966.
Her stretchy jersey bathing suit with the criss-crossed Halston straps and natural, unteased hair does not say 1966 beauty pageant. It screams more like 1974.
Something's amiss.
- My lady hamper is moist with anticipation!
- I could use some trowser gravy just about now.
- Well, in her defense, she was pretty much responsible for Y&R's ratings climb in the 80s. She was so OTT, you couldn't take your eyes away.
- When you try to find the Deven Green parodies of "Welcome to My Home," YouTube says that it was removed because of a copyright claim made by Brenda Dickson. So is she did she make a false copyright claim to YouTube or is she lying when she says this:

- For the record, Y&R gets five million viewers daily.
- She's delusional, period.
The facts are just a blur in her mind, which resembles corn flakes left in milk for two days
Jeanne Cooper, thinly veiled as the alcoholic actress with a real-life addiction
- I can not wait to read this book. Delicious
- LOVE this photo of Brendad walking the red carpet with her publicist holding up a sign so people know who she is.
[quote]My press agent, Edward Lozzi always has my back! That’s him holding the sign with my name on it…sweet! Lozzi said he would charge me extra for NEON!

- I love this clip. This is after she was let go and was supposedly at war with the Bells, but she can be seen shaking the hand of a very happy Lauralee Bell (on the far left next to Bierdz). Strange. Notice how she throws shade at Doug Davidson.

- What a HUGE VAGEENE she has!!
Look at all the good she does....
- R1/R2, she's referred to by that nickname because this crazy bitch tends to find things about her online and then make up drama about them.
- That's vagine, r13. Rhymes with wine.
- No, it's pronounced va-gene.
It's a HUGE VAGEENE!

- Who is this bitch? One of those people who crashes parties and gets in photos with celebrities? Who is she??
- From her site:
"It describes in detail the “Blacklisting” in Hollywood by Producer, William J. Bell, (the breach of contract and illegal firing), and the $11 million dollar fixed trial. (How all my trials where fixed)"
Umm....WHERE fixed?
You can't count the misspelt words, missing punctuation and pointless sentences.
- [quote]she's referred to by that nickname because this crazy bitch tends to find things about her online and then make up drama about them.
Omg, I was here when the Deven Greene parodies came out, how did I not know/realise this was the reason? Duhhhhh on me!
I love to look at the good she does.
- Did you read her hilariously bad copy about her book on that site? The grammatical and punctuation errors will leave you reeling!
- I saw her THS a few years ago...she came across as someone who would be a huge pain in the ass, not to mention drama queen. Just hearing her talk about a urinary tract infection, working through the pain of it, etc. was exhausting to listen to. She had enough material for a 2 hour special edition THS.
- R14 That is in correct.
On one of her videos, her name is run together on the screen to read "brendadickson.com" and, taking a cue from that, Deven Green in her voice over says, "Brendad Ickson has porn mouth!"
- Brenda is a crazy drunk. She is such a delusional hot mess, she'd make for a great reality show.
My favorite photo caption on the whole Internet is on her website: "This is me and Marc Cherry. We talked about me."
- "We talked about me."
That's hilarious, and it makes Deven Green's parodies even more hilarious, in a sense. I mean, it's hard to satirize something that's already so over-the-top crazy, but she did.

- I love the caption to one of her NYE photos where she describes her friend as wearing "sequence leggings".
- [quote] Who is this bitch? One of those people who crashes parties and gets in photos with celebrities? Who is she??
She was an actress - not a very good one - but she played the original Jill on Young and the Restless, and in a very campy, hair-toss sort of way, had her fans.
But she was fired long ago for a lot of bullshit and diva behavior. She's seriously not all together there in the head. She was in jail for a while in Hawaii because of some sort of drama surrounding her divorce (her most recent meal ticket tossed her out).
In short, this bitch is CRAY CRAY.
- The book is OUT! There's a blurb in today's NY Post, and Brendad's website now has rave reviews for the book from Shirley Jones and Renee Taylor.
[quote]Brenda Dickson — who originated the role of Jill Foster Abbott on “The Young and the Restless” during the Golden Age of soaps — says she ended up broke and homeless after being blacklisted from Hollywood by legendary daytime producer William J. Bell. In her new book, “My True Hidden Hollywood Story,” Dickson, now 64, also claims Bell enlisted “Mafia cartel judges and attorneys” to ruin her. Now, nearly 30 years later, “I am fighting back,” she tells The Post.
Brendad's special brand of crazy has given me so much entertainment over the years that I think I'll put down $10 for the Kindle version.

- When they brought Dickson back as Jill in 1983, Jill bore little resemblance to Dickson's earlier portrayal. Dickson said they made Jill this over the top character who never cried and was just camp. They were clearly trying to make her the Alexis of daytime.
- Maybe her life really WAS a living hell!

- I really hope the book is written the way she "writes" on her website.
[quote]In my memoirs of my life in almost every chapter is the man in my life. My love affairs with Mike Nader, (Dex Dexter on Dynasty or Dimitri Marrick on All My Children). Richard Thomas (The Waltons). Ernest Thompson, we were dating when he wrote On Golden Pond, which he won an Academy Award. The famous upscale clothing retailer, Fredy Segal. Congressman Barry Goldwater, Jr., my first real love. My two ex-husbands, who I believe were directly connected to Bill Bell and his family even after I left the show. How they got their fingers in my divorces to keep me quiet and out of Hollywood.

- What the hell is thish words, r30? Love it!
- She is being trashed on Huffington Post in the comments.
She claims to be broke but everyone wonders if the money went on really bad plastic surgery.
- [quote]I love the caption to one of her NYE photos where she describes her friend as wearing "sequence leggings."
What's your point?
