• Apples and oranges. They each are completely different from each other in their musical styles. Cher can rock. Streisand does beautiful ballads but can't rock. They are both very good at what they do. Been a Cher fan since I first heard Baby Don't Go so I guess I'm a little biased. Anyone who bashes either one will never be a friend of mine. • Cher seems the nicer one of the two. Whereas I could imagine her being very friendly and funny and witty with an ordinary fan (like me!), I would think Babs would be more likely to act disdainfully (at best).

• Streisand, a lot more vocal talent (although admittedly Cher might've been a better actress at her peak) and always cool on political issues. And she's smarter, I can't imagine her twittering her love of Joel Osteen for instance.
