OP, he's also releasing old threads as he strokes his caftan.
Aren't we on lockdown today? If so, a non-member can't bump.
I'm so bored with these 2010 threads. A thread should be unbumpable after 12 months.

What's the appeal of 2010 threads as opposed to 2011 or 2009 threads?
Non member here not locked out today.
I think they only go back as far a s 2010
I disagree, r5.
Sometimes stories are updated, and I like it better when the whole thing is a continuous story line, rather than 15 different threads on a subject every time there's a new development (especially for crime threads).
I also love the gossip threads. I've bumped some of those up myself, and had great, credible stuff as a result.
I'm not the random thread bumper who's been here lately, though.
[quote]Sometimes stories are updated, and I like it better when the whole thing is a continuous story line,
Same here. If I see an article with new information on an existing thread subject, I bump the old thread. But someone bumping a bunch of old threads without anything new or interesting to talk about is annoying.
Obviously trying to bury the conspiracy theory thread.
Well, someone today is not updating old threads; they're just trying successfully to be annoying.
In what way, R12? In an Umpy way?
Forgive me, new to this, what does bumping mean? How do you do it?
R14, when the Jews return to Zion and a comet rips the sky, and the Holy Roman Empire rises; then you and I must bump. From the eternal sea he rises, creating armies on either shore, turning man against his brother, 'til man bumps no more.
OP, R3 is correct.
I tried to respond shortly after you posted - in Primetime.
It's paying members doing it.
How do you register, please? I can't figure it out.
R15 - go back to your cash register. What the fuck is wrong with helping somebody?
The only interesting threads are from years ago because all the paying posters are completely boring.
People with memberships bump up old threads too, OP.
Go to "settings" r18
r12 - DL is not sustainable without such individuals.
p.s.- not a member or registered but able to post
R14, one finds a thread; clicks on "Post a Reply"; types a message in the Message box (e.g., "Bump" or "Up"); and then clicks on "save post".
Bumping is simply posting a reply on a thread to bring it back to the first page of threads on a message board. It could be a thread for which there have been no replies in months or years or one that has been in existence for a few minutes but has fallen off the front page or lower down on the page.
For a moment there, I thought Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens had just retired...rather than three years ago.
Some of the old threads are the best.

They're stale like three year old newspapers.
