Jesus and all his mary-boyz had a hard time being gay and accepted. That's why he and his band of boyz were having those big fish fries and wine keggers to get all those straight guys to play with them. All that, sign of the cross, stuff came much later even though Jesus and his boyz used the same hand motion during their daily workouts too. They used it to strengthen their limp wrists so they could be thought of as "straight acting." Not a whole lot has changed in all these years.
